Essential (always on)
These are saved in your browser (local storage), never sent to us, and only make the site work:
- mpm-lang: remembers whether you chose French or English.
- mpm-consent: remembers your cookie choice for 12 months, after which we ask again.
Audience measurement (with your consent)
If you tick “Help improve our recommendations (Google Analytics)”, Google Analytics sets the following cookies to produce overall statistics about how the site is used (events and pages viewed, visit length, device type, approximate city). We use them to learn which events, neighbourhoods and types of outings interest our visitors, so we can find and recommend more of them. Nothing is set until you agree, and these cookies are deleted if you withdraw your consent.
- _ga: tells visitors apart, anonymously. Lasts 2 years.
- _ga_<id>: keeps the state of the visit. Lasts 2 years.

Third-party services
Some parts of the site load from other services. They may receive your IP address and, under their own policies, use cookies that are strictly necessary for them to work or stay secure:
- our hosting provider, Cloudflare, which may set a bot-protection cookie;

- cdnjs, for site libraries.
When you follow a link to Facebook, Eventbrite or an organizer’s site, you leave Mon Petit Montréal and their policies apply.
